Lat Yao District
Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Khanu Woralaksaburi the province of Kamphaeng Phet, Amphoe Banphot the Phisai, Mueang Nakhon Sawan and Krok Phra Nakhon Sawan Province, Amphoe Sawang Arom the province of Uthai Thani, and Amphoe Chum Ta Bong and Mae Wong again in Nakhon Sawan.
Originally Lat Yao was as Tambon Amphoe Krok Phra part of. His manager Khun Lat Boriban ( ขุน ลาด บริบาล ) made an important for the development of infrastructure. He suggested in 1913 the governor of Nakhon Sawan prior to revalue the Tambon a district ( Amphoe ). The application was approved and set up the new county.
Amphoe Lat Yao is ( tambon) divided into 12 municipalities, which in turn in 149 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Lat Yao ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ลาดยาว ) consists of parts of the tambon Lat Yao.
- Sanchao Kai To ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ศาล เจ้า ไก่ ต่อ ) consists of parts of the tambon Sanchao Kai To.
There are also twelve administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล )
