Lata, Solomon Islands

Lata is the capital of Temotu Province in the Solomon Islands.

Infrastructure

In Lata to the hospital in Temotu is with 46 beds. Besides a post office, a telecommunications office and many shops there are a few hotels.

Connections to the outside world

Lata is also in possession of a small airstrip for flights to Makira and Honiara. Ship traffic is very irregular, but occasionally find transports also held to the outer islands.
