Latin America and Caribbean Network Information Centre
The Latin America & Caribbean Network Information Centre ( LACNIC ) is the competent Regional Internet Registry (RIR ) for Latin America and the Caribbean. It serves IP addresses, AS numbers, DNS records, and other network resources.
The LACNIC was founded in 2001. The administrative office is located in Montevideo, Uruguay, and the technical equipment to be supplied as in São Paulo from Brasil Comitê Gestor Internet. Prior to founding the services of LACNIC conducted by the ARIN.
