Latukan

The mountain is located in one extending in the east-west direction volcanic mountain range in Central Mindanao. In the northwest of the Latukan the Lanao Lake is the city Marawi City. To the west lies the volcano Makaturing, in the north- east, known from historical accounts and classified as active volcano rises Ragang.

The last eruption of the Latukan is not known, a more detailed investigation is still pending. However, it is likely that the Latukan in the Holocene was active.
