Latvian Hawks

The Latvian Hawks are an Irish Hockey Club of Dublin, which was founded in 2007 and plays in the Irish Ice Hockey League.

History

The Latvian Hawks were founded in 2007 on the occasion of the founding of the Irish Ice Hockey League, which they attend ever since. The club should represent the large Latvian Community in Dublin and the surrounding area. Thus, the cadres of the team to a majority of Latvian immigrants. Also, coaches and managers are native Latvians.

The second team of the club plays as " Latvian Hawks B" in the IIHL - Developmental Division, a developmental league for the Irish Ice Hockey League. In addition, the Club has partnered with the equally playing there Blackhawks.

Stadium

The home games of the Latvian Hawks will be played in Dundalk Ice Dome in Dundalk, which can hold 1,200 spectators.
