Laucourt
Laucourt is a northern French village with 174 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Grand Roye Roye, in the canton.
Geography
The church in the countryside Santerre is 4 km southwest of Roye. The municipality is crossed by the Autoroute A1, the department road D1017 ( former Route nationale 17), from which the department D930 road branches off to the Montdidier, and the high- speed railway line of the LGV Nord. Evident is still an old railway line to Montdidier.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
