Laufey or Nal is in Norse mythology by the giant Farbauti the mother of Loki. Otherwise, nothing about them is known.

That Loki in the Edda always Loki Laufeyjar sonr ( " Loki, son of Laufey " ), but not Farbauta sonr ( " son of Farbauti " ) is called, lies in the poetic rhetoric of alliteration.
