Laura Adani

Laura Adani ( born October 7, 1906 in Modena, † August 30 1996 in Moncalieri ) was an Italian actress.

Life

Adani began much like their drama associated sisters early with small roles and was in the 1930s one of the most important actresses of Italy. Already in 1930/31 was committed by Mario Mattoli for the legendary theater group " Za -Bum ". This was followed by roles in classics alongside Luigi Cimara, Umberto Melnati and especially Renzo Ricci, with whom she has appeared in many works of Shakespeare and D' Annunzio. Legendary is furnished by Guido Salvati production from the year 1942. La figlia di Iorio. From the second half of the decade Adani put their emphasis on contemporary pieces in which they could use their refined, expressive and spirited style with its outstanding voice. In later years, she worked with directors such as Paolo Grassi and Giorgio Strehler Roger Blin. Tours led in 1965 to the United States. She ended her stage appearances in 1981.

Occasionally took Laura Adani also film and television roles.

Adani was married twice; 1947 Count Luigi Visconti and 1969 with Count Ernesto Balbo Bertone.
