Laura Bertram

Laura Maureen Bertram ( born September 5, 1978 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress.

Life and career

Her two younger sisters Heather and Jennifer are also known actresses. Bertram took their first steps on the stage of various operas with the Canadian Children's Opera Chorus. A further nine years she trained ballet until her manager advised her to try as an actress. She attended one year the Queen's University in Kingston, before she received at the University of Guelph (Ontario) an honorary diploma in European History ( 1485-1700 ). In Germany it was known by the incarnation of Amanda Zimm in the series Amanda and Betsy and the role of Trance Gemini in the series Andromeda.
