Laura Brown (cyclist)

Laura Brown ( born November 27, 1986 in Calgary ) is a Canadian cyclist who has been active as an all-rounder in various disciplines on the track and in road cycling and successful.

2008, Laura Brown Canadian Champion in the Team Pursuit on the track, together with Jennifer Trew and Stephanie Roorda; in the individual pursuit, they finished third. The following year she was also third at the national championships in the individual time trial. In the UCI Track World Championships 2010 in Ballerup near Copenhagen she finished with the Canadian rail - four ( with Tara Whitten and Roorda ) sixth; at the Pan-American Championships in Aguascalientes, she was fifth in the time trial.

A second time was Brown Canadian champion when she won the team sprint together with Roorda; they finished second in the Omnium. At the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, she won with Roorda and Jasmin Glaesser the gold medal in the team pursuit, and in the time trial, she was third. In the same year she won the overall title, the local bicycle race Tour de White Rock.

In the UCI Track World Championships 2013 in Minsk Laura Brown won together with Jasmin Glaesser and Gillian Carleton the bronze medal in the team pursuit.
