Laura Kraut

Laura Kraut ( born November 14, 1965 in Camden, South Carolina, as Laura Kent) is an American show jumper and team Olympic champion.

In October 2012, she is ranked 14 in the world rankings.

Career

Three Year Old Herb came over her mother to ride.

In 2010 she starred in the U.S. TV series A Rider 's Story on the side of her teammate McLain Ward.

In 2000, she started with Liberty ' at the Olympic Games in Sydney and rode in the single number 29, with the team they finished in 6th place.

At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing cabbage won with the U.S. team ( McLain Ward, Beezie Madden and Will Simpson ) and her horse Cedric team gold in individual she was ranked 22

Laura Kraut trained Jessica Springsteen.

Personal

Her ex-husband Bob herb is also successful in sports. Herb is allied with the British show jumper Nick Skelton. In summer, when it denies tournaments in Europe, it lives on its investment, the winter months spent at Skelton herb in Wellington ( Florida). She has a son born in 1999.

She studied Business and Economics. Herb is an ambassador for Just World International, a company founded by the former show jumper Jessica Newman charity.
