Laura Moylan

Laura Moylan ( born February 27, 1983 in Canberra) is an Australian chess player.

Life

Laura Moylan is originally from Canberra, where she attended the College in the suburb of Melba Copland, but now lives in Sydney. My chess teacher was Geoffrey T. Butler. She herself teaches chess at the Sydney Academy of Chess and supervises the affiliated clubs Beecroft Junior Chess Club and Hornsby Junior Chess Club. In the New South Wales Chess Association she holds the post of Press Officer.

Achievements

In 1995, she took a tie for third at twelve at the Australian U18 Championship of female youth in Canberra. The championship they won a year later.
