Laura Steinbach ( born August 2, 1985 in Homburg ) is a German handball player.

Steinbach initially practiced several sports and decided at 14 years for handball. Steinbach joined in 2000 by TSV Urach to TuS Metzingen, where it was used from the age of 16 in the 2nd Bundesliga. The 1.81 m wide student played from 2005 to 2007 at the Bundesliga DJK / MJC Trier. For the 2007 /08 season she stood at Bayer 04 Leverkusen under contract. There she played on the left back position. For the 2013/14 season, she moved to the Hungarian club Ferencvaros Budapest.

The daughter of former swimmer and sports functionary Klaus Steinbach is part of the Germany squad and has been 99 games ( 206 goals ) for the German national team contested. Your international debut was in Riesa against Croatia on 7 April 2006.
