Laurel is a city in Prince George's County in the U.S. state of Maryland about halfway between the U.S. federal capital, Washington DC and Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland.

Laurel is traversed from north to south from the famous U.S. Highway 1, the Key West in Florida with Fort Kent in Maine connects ( on the Canadian border ). In the West, Interstate 95, and it runs from Florida to Maine, the city limits Laurels. To the east of the Baltimore - Washington Parkway is located. In west-east direction, these roads of Maryland State Highway 198 (MD 198) are crossed.
