Lauren Ellis

Lauren Ellis ( * April 19 1989 in Ashburton ) is a New Zealand track cyclist.

2006 Lauren Ellis was Vice World Champion in the junior women in the individual pursuit in Ghent. The same as in the following year, she was able to win and the national junior title in this discipline. At the Junior World Championships in 2007 in Aguascalientes, she won third place in the pursuit.

In the Track World Championships 2009 in Pruszków was Lauren Ellis Vice World Champion in the Team Pursuit, together with Jaime Nielsen and Alison Shanks. In 2010 Vice World Champion in the points race and was third in the team pursuit ( with Alison Shanks and Rushlee Buchanan ). In the same year she won the silver medal in the points race at the Commonwealth Games.

In 2012 she was New Zealand champion in the time trial.
