Lauren Lee Smith
Lauren Lee Smith ( born June 19, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress and model.
Life and career
Lauren Lee Smith traveled the world as a child and lived for some time in Europe. Through her stepfather, a documentary filmmaker, she came early with the film industry in contact. The age of 13 she was discovered by a scout of the fashion industry. At that time she lived in Los Angeles. For six years she worked as a professional model. At age 19, she returned to Vancouver and began her career in 2000 on canvas and screen with a role in the film Get Carter - The truth hurts. By 2005, it focused on various television roles, such as the series Christy, in which she played the lead role, and Mutant X. 2006 was to see Smith in the television series The L Word. In 2007, she starred opposite of Til Schweiger in the movie One Way. In season nine of the U.S. series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, she played the role of Riley Adams and replaced by Jorja Fox.
Since April 4, 2009 Smith is married to the German still photographers and lighting Erik Steingröver.
