Laurence Dunmore

Laurence Dunmore is a director and film producer.

Career

Dunmore's first film as director, The Libertine, in which Johnny Depp has taken the lead role in 2004 celebrated its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Dunmore himself said that he did not see his film as a sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean, the audience would otherwise be very disappointed ( "a very upset audience "). In September 2004 it was announced that Dunmore will direct the film for A Million Little Pieces. In October 2005, Dunmore was twice nominated for the British Independent Film Award, but could not win any of the Trophies.
