Laurent Bernier

Laurent Bernier (* December 22, 1928 ) is a former Canadian ski jumper.

Career

Bernier won on 12 January 1942, the Quebec City Ski Event. Six years later started in the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 in St. Moritz in ski jumping. After he crashed on the individual competition in the second round, he was at the end of 46th and so last among the evaluated jumpers.

In the summer competitions on July 24, 1949 in the Belknap Mountain Recreation Area, he won the jumping of the K90 ski jump with jumps of 103, 110 and 112 meters in front of Ken Fysh and Bob La Rue.
