Laurent Hilaire

Laurent Hilaire (born 1962 ) is a French ballet dancer.

Hilaire began his ballet training in 1975 at the Ballet School of the Paris Opera. He joined in 1979 in the corps de ballet of the Paris Opera and quickly climbed the higher ranks of the ballet hierarchy. On November 2, 1985, he was raised by a Swan - Presentation by the former Director of Ballet Rudolf Nureyev in the rank of étoile.

Hilaire was throughout his career as an outstanding performer with brilliant technique. He has all roles of the classical and contemporary ballet repertoire danced, including the leading roles in Raymonda, La Bayadère, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Petrushka, Le Parc and many others.

Since March 2005, Hilaire ballet master is at the Paris Opera.
