Laurie Records

Laurie Records was an American record label.

The label was founded in 1958 by brothers Bob and Gene Schwartz along with Alan Sussell. " I Wonder Why ": In April 1958, the label released his first single ever. The song was a breakthrough for Dion and the Belmonts. The successful artists of the label were the late 1950s, Dion and the Belmonts ("A Teenager In Love " ) and the early 1960s, Dion ( "The Wanderer ", " Runaround Sue ").

In the early 1980s took over EMI ( EMI - Capitol at that time ) the company. In this case, his name changed in 3C Records. 3C stood for Continental Communications Corporation.
