Lauterbach bone from the south

The Lauterbach bone is a 683 m high hill about a kilometer north of the hamlet of Marie Berger Lauterbach in the Erzgebirge. On the summit is a historic station of the Royal Saxon triangulation.

Location

The mountain ridge forms in addition to the three brothers height, the watershed between the rivers Zschopau and Floeha at the edges of Marie Hochfläche.

Despite its average height offers a panoramic view. In the north- east you can see the Waltersdorfer height. To the east, one sees the mountain town of Sidon and the Schwartenberg. South Anna height, Steinhübel, the Hirtstein and the three brothers height can be seen. To the southwest is the Pöhlberg, on the horizon are Fichtelbergbahn and wedge mountain visible.
