Lautersheim

Lautersheim is a municipality in the Thunder Mountain district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Göllheim.

Geographical location

The municipality is situated on the slopes of the hill Göllheimer country, north of the Palatinate Forest, between Kaiserslautern and Worms.

The local council in Lautersheim consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 a proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Events

The biggest festival in the village is the "Louder Heimer Kerwe ", which is celebrated since 1968 without interruption on the fourth weekend in September. Highlight here is the " Kerwe move " followed by " Kerweredd " on Sunday afternoon.

Economy and infrastructure

Through the village runs the L 448 A short distance away are the A 63 in the West, the A 6 in the south and the A61 to the east. The nearest train station is at the Ebert home Eistalbahn Green City Ramsen.

Sports

The football club SV Lautersheim plays since its inception in 1953 in the lowest German league (now Kreisklasse ) 2001 SV Lautersheim had its biggest sporting success in history: In addition to the championship in the county league and the Circle Cup win and the vice - district championship could be won.
