Template: Infobox River / Obsolete

The Lawe is a river in France, which mostly runs in the Pas -de -Calais, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais. It rises near the village Rocourt -en- l'Eau, in the municipality of Magnicourt -en- Comté, drained generally in a northeasterly direction and empties after 41 kilometers at La Gorgue, in the Nord as a right tributary to the river Lys.

Shipping

In Béthune she crosses the Canal d' Aire, a section of the Great shipping lane Dunkirk -Scheldt. The Lawe itself is channeled from the mouth to Béthune, the locks are, however, no longer preserved so that this range for the shipping can not be availed today.
