Lawman is an American Western television series that was produced by Warner Bros. for ABC. Between 1958 and 1962 a total of 156 episodes emerged in four squadrons, each of 30 minutes.

Action

The series was about the adventures of U.S. Marshal Dan Troop and Deputy Johnny McKay whose in Laramie, Wyoming. In guest appearances included performances by DeForest Kelley, Martin Landau, Sammy Davis Jr. and James Coburn on. Jack Elam and Lee Van Cleef had multiple guest appearances.

Background

By means of action overlaps were the protagonists of the series also in the co- produced by Warner Bros. western series Maverick. Peter Brown, however, was also seen in an episode of the simultaneously produced series Sugarfoot in a different role.

As guest stars appeared, among others, John Carradine, Sammy Davis Jr., Lee van Cleef and Martin Landau.
