Lawrence Gordon (producer)
Lawrence Gordon ( born March 25, 1936 in Yazoo City, Mississippi) is an American film producer.
Life and work
Prior to his career, he studied at Tulane University in New Orleans. From 1984 to 1986 he was the president of the film studio 20th Century Fox.
One of the most well-known films produced by him is Die Hard.
His brother Charles Gordon has also worked as a producer in the film business, together operate the production company " Largo Entertainment".
In 1990 he was nominated for the movie Field of Dreams with his brother for an Oscar. In the same year he was nominated for the Golden Raspberry.
