Layer Road was a multi-purpose stadium in Colchester, England. By July 2008, the football club Colchester United was there, its home games. The stadium was built in 1909 and last had a capacity of 6,000 seats. However, the attendance record is 19,072 during the FA Cup game against Colchester United FC Reading in November 1948.

For the season 2008/ 09 Colchester United moved into the 10,000-seat Weston Homes Community Stadium, which opened as Colchester Community Stadium.
