Lázaro Báez

Lázaro Báez ( born February 11, 1956 in Corrientes ) is an Argentine contractor.

He was friends with Néstor Kirchner since the beginning of his term as governor of Santa Cruz. In 2003, Báez the construction company Construcciones Austral, which quickly became one of the largest Argentine companies. In 2011 he was responsible as a builder for the construction of the mausoleum of Néstor Kirchner.

Báez was counter allegations of corruption by Néstor Kirchner and found his wife and successor as President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
