Lázaro Borges

Lázaro Borges ( Eduardo Lázaro Borges Ried, born June 19, 1986 in Havana ) is a Cuban pole vaulter.

He was Central America and Caribbean champion in 2005. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, he left without a valid attempt. In 2010 he was Latin American Champion.

At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu, he won with the Cuban national record of 5.90 meters silver medal and had to only because of the higher number of failed attempts to surrender the Poland Paweł Wojciechowski.
