The glaze Stadium ( Bulgarian стадион Лазур ) is one of the few pure football stadiums in Bulgaria as well as the most modern in the country. The stadium is located in the homonymous municipality glaze the Black Sea city of Burgas, near the city beach and the Atanassow Lake. Chernomorets Burgas The FC carries because of the conversion of his own stadium its home games here.

History

The first stadium was built in 1967 but completely renovated in the period 1990-1997 and expanded. The official inauguration took place with the game FK Neftochimik on April 13, 1997 - instead of Levski Sofia ( 4:1). The stadium was until 2002 " Neftohimik " until 2006 " Naftex " and was until 2009 the home stadium of FK Neftochimik. Since 2009 it is the home stadium of FC Chernomorets Burgas local rivals (see The Era SABEW ) and it reflects the new name. Today it has 18 037 seats and 302 VIP seats. The north and the south stand are covered and have 10,000 seats and 11 separated journalists cabins. In 2003, the stadium was renovated. Since August 2008 we used the same artificial turf as the Stade de Suisse in Bern. 2009, the stadium was partially restored again. The seats of the substitutes' benches and the VIP lounge were completely redone with Recaro seats and the green seats replaced by blue in the stadium.

The glaze Stadium is the only stadium in Bulgaria, which for games of all competitions UEFA ( UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, etc.), for the European and World Championship qualifications of the Bulgarian national team as well as games of the Bulgarian leagues is licensed.

Other clubs use for their international performances, the stadium, including Litex Lovech (eg for the Champions League game against Spartak Moscow), Locomotive Plovdiv ( for the Champions League match against FC Bruges and UEFA Cup matches against OFK Belgrade and Bolton Wanderers ) and Cherno More Varna ( for the UEFA Intertoto Cup match against Sampdoria and Europa League games against PSV Eindhoven, for example )

In the season 2010/11 FC Neftochimik returned to his former stadium. The reason for the implementation of the third league game against Botev Plovdiv is also traditional in Dolno Eserowo Stadium ( max. capacity of 2,000 seats ) did not want to take responsibility the police. The match took place on 28 November 2010 and was attended by around 10,000 spectators. The game thus broke the attendance record for a third league game that was won with 1:2 of Botev.

In May 2012, the finals of the Bulgarian Cup and the Supercup between the 2011/ 12 and 2014/15 in the glaze Stadium decided the Bulgarian Football Federation to stage.
