LDE – Peter Rothwell to Nordlicht

The Peter Rothwell to Nordlicht were passenger - train tender locomotives of the Leipzig- Dresden Railway ( LDE).

History

The six locomotives were delivered between 1838 and 1840 by Rothwell, England to the LDE. They were given the name PETER ROTHWELL, SALAMANDER, Magdeburg, SIMSON, Altenburg and NORTHERN LIGHTS.

The locomotives were retired in 1856-1864.
