LDN (short for: London ) is a song by British pop singer Lily Allen. The song was released on 25 September 2006 as the second single from Allen's debut album Alright, Still. The song was initially released only on vinyl together with its B-side Knock ' Em Out, but was then released again as a CD single for a second time.

Song

The song is about Allen's hometown of London. She sings about everything nice look, at first glance, but if you hinsehe more accurately, be it just lies.

LDN has been used as the soundtrack for the film The Nanny Diaries and in the trailer for Happy -Go-Lucky. He was also ranked number 30 of the best songs of 2007, chosen by Rolling Stone magazine.

For LDN two music videos were filmed:

  • The first music video you can see Allen bike ride through London. Here we see more positive things from London.
  • The second music video rather adapts to the text of the song. You can see Allen go through London. In front of her, everything looks positive, but as soon as she passes, the reality is by means of a visual effect shown.

LDN could not repeat the success of Allen's debut single, Smile, but managed nevertheless to place 6 in the British charts.
