Le Blanc-Mesnil
Le Blanc -Mesnil is a French city located northeast of Paris in the Seine -Saint -Denis (formerly Seine-et -Oise ) with 51 916 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). The inhabitants are called Blancmesnilois.
History
Nationwide became famous for the city in November 2005 through prolonged unrest of young people who took their origin in this region. Le Blanc -Mesnil is the administrative center of the canton of the same name.
