Le Bourget

Le Bourget is a commune with 14,978 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Seine- Saint- Denis. It is located northeast of the capital, Paris. Le Bourget is the capital of the canton of the same name.

The municipal area is the Le Bourget airport on which takes place every two years the Paris Air Show, an internationally important trade fair for aircraft, helicopters, space and related technologies. The Concorde was presented at this exhibition to the public for the first time. In 2005, the A380 Airbus Company flew for the first time with passengers.

Furthermore, Le Bourget is the site of one of the marshalling yards of the Paris railway complex.
