Le Bouscat

Le Bouscat is a French town with 23,075 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. The city is located in the district of Bordeaux and is the capital (French: chef- lieu) of its own canton.

Geography

Le Bouscat is the northwestern suburb of Bordeaux. The community belongs to the community association Communauté Urbaine de Bordeaux, which also includes the neighboring communities of Bruges in the north, east and south of Bordeaux and Eysines belong in the West.

Traffic

The city is linked by tram and bus lines of the C TBC into the network of public transport. Another tram line D, which covers large parts of the city and the neighboring communities, is under construction and will be completed in 2017. At the beltway Bordeaux and thus connected to the French road network Le Bouscat is through the installation point No. 7 of the Autoroute A630.
