Le Chat Noir (Band)

Le Chat Noir is an alternative rock duo consisting of Teddy Hesper (guitar, vocals) and Eileen Spruce (drums).

History

Teddy Hesper was born in London in 1982, but soon moved with his family to the vicinity of Devonshire. Initially, a pure bass player, 2006 he changed to guitar and vocals make the roots of the bass still noticeable ( so is his guitar often deeper voted ). Among his influences he counts among others Kurt Cobain, Frank Black, The Doors and The White Stripes.

Hesper holds a degree in English literature.

Eileen Spruce in 1983 in Los Angeles, Ca. born, moved in 2006 to England to join Le Chat Noir. This year, she also earned her first drum kit.

The band lives of their explosive live performances; and even if they are often compared to the White Stripes, they try to define their own style and to be more than a mere imitation of a successful concept.
