Le Granit Regional County Municipality

Le Granit Regional County Municipality is a (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.

It is located in the administrative region of Estrie and consists of 20 subordinate administrative units (one city, 14 municipalities, two cantonal municipalities and three Sprengel ). The MRC was founded on 26 May 1982. The main town of Lac- Mégantic is. Its population is 22 452 and the surface 2729.8 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 8.2 inhabitants per km ².
