Le Petit Spirou

Petit Spirou ( in the original: Le petit Spirou ) is the main character of 1987 developed by Tome and Janry eponymous comic book series of one -pagers and shorter episodes, which is colored by Stephane de Becker.

The series deals with the childhood of the famous comic book hero Spirou and revolves mainly around the central issues of concern to children. It has its origins in the Spirou episode " sins of youth " (original: La jeunesse de Spirou ) in the same " Spirou and Fantasio " Volume No. 36 of 1987.

Originally, the gags were located in a 1950s ambience to clarify the reference to the "big " Spirou. Due to their huge success, the series became independent, however, and has now arrived in the present ( cell phones, latest fashion, etc.).

Main characters

  • Willy Meier (French Vertignasse called Vert ): Willy is the best friend of Spirou since the time had looked as both together through the keyhole in the girls' locker room.
  • Susie Wilke (French Suzette ): It is the " fiancee " of small Spirou and sometimes quite idiosyncratic.
  • Bulli (in reality, Theo Bull Rich, French Nicolas Ponchelot ): He's another friend of Spirou, who loves to eat and will burst after Spirou assessment of a day.
  • Cassius (actually Cyprian tutu, double Cassius aka Cyprien Futu ): A friend of African origin, whose father is a school cook.
  • Spacki (French masseur ): a large but not particularly clever friend.
  • John Baptist ( double -Baptiste André Depérinconu ): Is he a son of the pastor of concealed? Anyway, he looks like a perfect copy.
  • Gym instructor Jahn (French Monsieur ( Désiré ) mégot ): He is indeed physical education teacher, but still a big fan of beer and cigarettes. He is always trying to hold original sporting hours, which always end in disaster. It also includes billiards, vocal Sport and air mattress ( Volume 13 ) than physical activities.
  • Pastor Hyacinth Steiner (French L' abbé Langelusse ): a pastor who always has new ideas on how he glorify God and save the souls of his proteges can, which usually also ends in disaster. So his trips often end up involuntarily in a Satan Cult Festival, a nudist club or a mafia hideout ( Volume 13 ).
  • Miss Chiffre (French Mademoiselle Claudia cipher ): She is a beautiful math teacher in Spirou class and has a small beloved Melchior knees soft. In their secret dates they will gladly watched by Spirou and his friends.
  • Melchior knees soft (French Melchior Dugenou ): a teacher with big glasses who after the pretty Melle cipher is shy, clumsy and crazy, but is not with someone could explain.
  • Grandpa (French Pépé Spirou ): He is the dearest adults of small Spirou, despite his advanced age, since it is rare wiser than his grandson.
  • Miss Hermione (French Madame Gourmandine ): She is the fiancee of Grandpa.
  • Granny has Spirou, the Alzheimer's: Grandma (French Grand- Mamy ).
  • Mama (French Maman Spirou ): the mother of the little Spirou

To date, 16 volumes have been published. The comic books are published in Germany since 1990 by Carlsen Verlag, first published in a special volume series (Volumes 2-6), from 1996 as a separate series.
