A Pathfinder to fall in love is a French film from the year 1978.

Description

As a moral fable, the comedy portrays the metamorphosis of the jammed temporary teacher Bertrand Barabi ( Henri Guybet ), which is mocked by colleagues. But piano teacher Dominique Benech ( Claude Jade ), the widowed mother of his problem student Michel, encouraged him to complete under the pseudonym Bergerac his novel: For the novel Le Pion ( Eng.: The pawn ), receives Bertrand the Prix Goncourt. Suddenly the derided Barabi is swarmed while Dominique retires. The love story in which Bertrand previously idolized arrogant teacher Thuillier ( Maureen Kerwin ) can stand and ends up in the arms of the shy Dominique, serving the romantic aspect of comedy, whose entertainment value slightly by bawdy slapstick ( Michel Galabru as annoyed by student strike inspector ) is clouded.
