Le Plessier-Rozainvillers

Le Plessier - Rozainvillers ( Picard: Plessii - Rozinvilèr ) is a northern French village with 683 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes Avre Luce Moreuil, in the canton Moreuil.

Geography

The community at the edge of the landscape Santerre is 6 km east-southeast of Moreuil to the department D54 and D137 roads.

History

The former hamlet of Saint -Aubin -en- Harponval has completely disappeared. The wool industry has come to a halt at the end of the 19th century.

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
