Le Roncole

Le Roncole, also called Le Roncole Verdi, is a registered my deterministic suburb of Busseto, Parma, Italy.

It is the birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi, his birthplace still stands and is now a museum. Not far away is the retirement home of Giuseppe Verdi, the Villa Verdi at Sant'Agata, a district of Villanova Sull'Arda. The premises also house a museum about the great composers. The Italian State has the house, at the same time excellent with the ABCs of Giacomo Puccini and Gioachino Rossini, with the European Heritage Label.

Also in Roncole lived from 1952 until his death in 1968, the writer and journalist Giovannino Guareschi, famous as the author of the saga of Don Camillo. Here he was buried.
