Le Sueur is a small town ( with a status of " City "), which is located mostly in the Le Sueur County and to a lesser extent in Sibley County in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010, Le Sueur had 4058 inhabitants.
Geography
Le Sueur is located in the central southeastern Minnesota at the Minnesota River at 44 ° 27'57 " north latitude and 93 ° 54'32 " west longitude. The city covers 14.56 km ², spread over 13.91 km ² land and 0.65 km ² water surface.

The U.S. Highway passes through the north of Le Sueur. The Minnesota State Route 112 leads from its northwestern end point as the main road through town and leaves it in a southerly direction. West of the Minnesota River is located at the confluence with the U.S. 169, the southern terminus of the Minnesota State Route 93 near the bridge of U.S. 169 north of the city there is another crossing of the Minnesota River in height of the center of Le Sueur. All other roads within Le Sueur are minor roadways or urban roads.
In parallel to the Minnesota River runs a railroad line of the Union Pacific Railroad, the largest railroad company in the country.
With the Le Sueur Municipal Airport is a small airfield in the south of the city. The nearest major airport is the Minneapolis -Saint Paul International Airport ( 87.2 km to the northeast ).
