Le Val

Le Val is a commune with 4191 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Var department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur.

History

As early as the Bronze Age, about 2500 BC, people lived in the region. In Les Essartènes near Le Val are to Inscrit Monument Historique explained caves with wall paintings and rock engravings. Later, in the first millennium BC, located Ligurian tribes from the east and from the north invading Celts settled in the region. Attractions

Economy
