Léa Linster

Léa Linster (* April 27, 1955 in Differdange ) is a Luxembourg chef and food entrepreneur with a presence in the media.

Life

Léa Linster first studied law, but took over in 1982 after the death of her father whose guest house in Frisingen, about 15 km south of the city of Luxembourg, and opened it as a restaurant " Lea Linster ". She earned the Certificat d'aptitude professionnelle cuisinier (vocational certificate ) and a master diploma and an intern at Paul Bocuse, Joël Robuchon and Frédy Girardet. 1987 the restaurant by the Michelin Guide was first honored with a star. Two years later she won the Bocuse d'Or. Opened in 1991 Linster as another restaurant in the Grand Duchy " The Kaschthaus " in slipways.

Since 2001, she writes regularly for the German women's magazine Brigitte own column. From 2004 to January 2008, she had her own television show " Leah Kochlust " at SR television. Since 2006, she appeared in a small role as the Linde - hostess in Saarbrücken episodes of the TV series Tatort. She is also known as an author of cookbooks.

Linster also occurs frequently in broadcast ZDF television garden, also leads them from time to time by the afternoon series The kitchen battle of the ZDF.
