Leap Castle

Leap Castle is a castle in County Offaly in Ireland, built in 1250 by the O'Bannon family. It was originally called Léim Uí Bhánáin or Leap of the O'Bannon.

Many people were imprisoned and executed, which is why there are numerous Spukberichte in this castle. The property is to be haunted by numerous spirits, including a small, humped shape, which can be detected at a decaying, sulfurous stench. This creature is called by some elemental.

Leap Castle was visited, among others, by the team of the successful British show Most Haunted in 2002 and studied. 2006 was a team of TAPS on site to investigate the alleged Spukuntersuchungen as part of their TV series Ghost Hunters International.

The castle is since 1991 owned by the Irish musician Sean Ryan, who can restore the castle.
