Lebeuville

Lebeuville is a commune with 173 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Nancy, for Canton Haroué and founded in 2004, community association La Pipistrelle.

Geography

The community Lebeuville is above the Moselle valley, about 25 kilometers southwest of Luneville and 30 kilometers southeast of Nancy. The narrow plateau falls gradually westward to Madontal from, for Moselle valley to the east in a steep section of about 100 meters. Smaller areas in the west and north of the municipal area is wooded.

Neighboring communities of Lebeuville are Leménil - Mitry in the north, Bainville -aux- Miroirs in the east, Gripport in the south, and Germonville Xirocourt ( point of contact ) to the southwest, Vaudigny in the west and vaudeville in the northwest.

History

Lebeuville has long been of Bainville -dependent, which is reflected in the silver cross on a blue shield coat of arms of Bainville and Lebeuville. The giraffe head on the crest of Lebeuville reminiscent of the signature of Maillart family, the longtime landlords of the place.

Lebeuville can be reached from the south Gripport, from the north Laneuveville -devant- Bayon. Due to the west of the municipal area, the highway-like -developed national road leads 57 ( E 23 ) from Nancy to Epinal (with connection in Gripport ).
