The Office Lebus is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, where first nine municipalities and the city of Lebus in the former county had Seelow (today district or Mark- Land, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. The seat is in the town of Lebus. Through municipal mergers, the Office currently manages four municipalities and the city of Lebus.

Geographical location

The Office is located in the southeast of the district or Mark- land in Brandenburg ( Germany ). It is bordered on the north by the Office Golzow, on the east by the county powiat Słubicki ( Lubusz Voivodeship ) of the Republic of Poland, on the south by the district-free city of Frankfurt (Oder) and the Office Or foreland, and to the Office Seelow land in the west.

The Office Lebus comprised 2012, the following municipalities:

  • Lebus with Lebus (city), and the hamlets Mallnow, Schönfließ and Wulkow
  • Podelzig
  • Riding wine
  • Treplin
  • Zeschdorf with the hamlets of Old Zeschdorf, Döbberin and Peter Hagen

History

The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued April 21, 1992, effective May 22, 1992, his consent to the formation of the Office Lebus. The seat of the administrative office of the city Lebus was determined. The Office 1992 included the municipalities of:

  • Old Zeschdorf
  • Döbberin
  • Mallnow
  • Peter Hagen
  • Podelzig
  • Riding wine
  • Schönfließ
  • Treplin
  • Wulkow
  • And the town of Lebus

As of 31 December 1997, Old Zeschdorf, Döbberin and Peter Hagen merged to form the new municipality Zeschdorf. Schönfließ was incorporated on 31 December 1998 by Lebus. On 30 November 2001, effective 31 December 2001, the Minister of the Interior approved the inclusion of the communities Mallnow and Wulkow at Booßen in the city Lebus.

Office directors

First Amtsdirektor was the mayor of Lebus Hans -Peter Walter. He was succeeded by Hans -Jörg Strahlendorf, but moved to another post after only one and a half years. In March 1996, Hans -Joachim Fricke was elected the new office director. He was voted out in September 1998. Only in 2004 Heiko Friedemann was elected the new office director. In the interim period between changes Margot Franke led a substitute, the office, a total of eight years.
