The Lecco railway station (Italian: Stazione di Lecco) is the station of the northern Italian town of Lecco. It is operated by the Company CentoStazioni SpA, a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato SpA, .

The station is the starting point of the railway lines Como- Lecco, Lecco Lecco and Bergamo - Colico. All the routes were operated by RFI.

Location

The station is located west of the city center and has a total of five platform tracks. The station building is a Typenbau the SFAI that also in other concurrent Lombard stations (Lodi, Mantua, Pavia and Varese) was built.

History

The station was built in 1863 as the terminus of the line Lecco, Bergamo. 1888, the railway Como- Lecco and 1892 the railway line Lecco - Colico was opened.
