Lech Majewski
Lech Majewski ( born August 30, 1953 in Katowice ) is a Polish film and theater director, writer, poet and painter.
Majewski studied at the Art Academy in Warsaw. In 1973 he went to film school in Łódź, where he studied directing. This he graduated in 1977 from 1981, he emigrated to England and turns his films there since 1982 or even in the United States. Later he moved to Italy (Venice ), where he lives today, but visits his native Poland regularly.
He is a member of the American and European film academies and the Polish Penclub.
