Lednice–Valtice Cultural Landscape
Lednice- Valtice ( Czech Lednice- Valtice areál ) is a registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List Cultural scenery in Moravia, Czech Republic. The cultural landscape since December 7, 1996 part of World Heritage.
Topography
The area forms a resultant from the 17th century complex of landscape architecture in an area of approximately 283.09 km ². The protected area includes the land areas of Břeclav ( Charvatská Nová Ves, Poštorná ) Ladná, Podivín, Valtice ( Úvaly ) Bulhary, Hlohovec, Lanzhot, Lednice ( Nejdek ) and Sedlec. To the west it borders on the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Lower Morava (formerly Palava ).
In addition to the settlement structures Valtice with Chateau Valtice and Lednice Castle Lednice are located in the area of the pond Lednické rybníky and various small buildings, especially Rajstna, Belvedér, Rendezvous, St. Hubert Chapel, Little Border Chateau, Tři Grácie, Rybniční Chateau, Nový dvůr, Temple of Apollo, Lovecký Chateau, Janův Hrad, Minaret, Obelisk, Pohansko, Zámeček Lany.
