Lee Addy

Lee Addy (born 7 July 1990 Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player.

Career

After a year abroad in the Lebanese Premier League in Tripoli SC 2008 Addy returned to Ghana and plays since the first division Bechem Chelsea. The defense all-rounder that is not only used in central defense, but also on the left outside or in defensive midfield, was elected in his first year after his return equal to the best defensive player of the season.

He was then invited to a friendly match of the Ghanaian national team in Argentina with players from the local league. In his international debut on 30 September 2009 he showed a convincing performance and so he was allowed at the African Cup in 2010 his first tournament in the national jersey contest. In four games, he came over the full time used.

After this rapid rise in the national team, he was also included in the 23- man squad for the Ghana Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
